Easy recovery run. Looks like sore calf was impact bruise, not muscle pull.

JOK Chasing Sprint, Prologue @ Faskally. Much fun. Was late arriving and thought I would miss my start, but got to the line just as my time went into the last box... was nervy over the first few controls, no major errors but quite a bit of standing still compass setting and inaccuracies in the control circle.

7th M40 (+23% to Godders), overall 31st (+47% to gg).

Chasing sprint, chase. Ran off following Rob Lee and Rosco, got close to them at 2, lost a little on 3 getting stuck in a tree and then fell off losing a few seconds checking the wrong control at 4. Trying to get back in contact I then fell quite heavily on the way to 6, pulling my left calf. Slowed a little but thankfully it settled, although I almost fell over backwards on a cliff climbing to 6, having just been overtaken by Big Jon. Should have followed him straight on 7 but went a little right to try to get some easier running and then it wasn't really that easy and got the line into the control wrong. Caught by RobK at about 9 or 10 but got away on the grass run from 12 onwards - by far my best splits of the day. Great fun, with about optimal runner density for a chasing race.

Made it to Martin's intervals for the first time in a thousand years. Why did I ever stop going? Sunny evening. Started off not so well with about 3'52 then 3x3'48ish before managing 3'32 on the last one. First few with Terry. Well behind Max including on the last one where I sped up a lot and so did he...

Taped knees coped fine. Early signs of getting a grip on diet.
