Sunday long run, cycle path then lapping Inverleith Park, partly with StuW. I had hoped this would be starting to get easy, particularly as this was an easy week and I had a day off yesterday, but no such luck and my pace was starting to go on the uphills near the end. Knees coped (left knee taped). 40km week complete, next repeat 50/40 at least once with decent midweek sprints session.

TT was 3 x running up the Radical Road from the Scottish Parliament side, plus fast descent (although I took it easy at the steepest part, to protect my knee). Plus I threw in a few sprints for good luck/consistency. Tired, but not too bad.

Conflict of loyalties with ESOC training and Meadows 5k both in the Meadows at the same time... too injured to man up and do both. Went for the 5k at 4min/k as a tempo run. Felt fine for 2 laps, 3rd lap was getting hard. Might have managed a 4th but wouldn't have managed 10k tonight. Knee (taped) coped although a bit sore still and generally feeling better.

Easy run home - was actually feeling OKish for once but left knee was sore early on, in a way it hasn't been for a while, so I just kept it short and easy. Sunday's run was too much for it, for now.
