National XC Relay @ Cumbernauld. 3rd leg. Was still quite sore and tired from Thursday. Started off badly and a couple of people went past, slowly got my act together and running better by the end, net gain of 2 places. 16'10 +42%). Should do better.

TT was an entirely insane session in honour of Brian's 59th birthday. 59", 58", 57", 56" etc. to 1", recovery initially 20" but decreasing. I pointed out the lethal ankle destroying pot hole in the grass by the tennis courts near the chess board and only two people destroyed their ankles on it. Others ran on the tarmac or avoided the pothole. Great XC session and aligned with current goal of getting stronger. Mostly running past Ivor and Huw but got tired, destroyed myself trying to keep up with Michael B at about 15" and jogged the last dozen or so. Mental. In a good way. +HFP
