Went to Kenny @ Space about the sore right hip. Muscles over the top have felt really tight for years, last causing me serious trouble at the end of 2012 when I had to take 6 weeks off and seeming at risk of a flare up again. Half-baked stretching over that time hasn't helped so Kenny gave me two strengthening exercises with an elastic band - both sort of souped up clams while standing. I'm gradually working my way through every known postural muscle indirectly useful for running and finding they are all a bit weak and I need to strengthen them or something gets injured when I try to put some effort in. I mentioned the iron supplements (which are working great) and Kenny pointed out that if supplements are actually helping I'm not eating properly.

Easy tarmac miles in the evening. Achilles tendons sore for second half. Some shooting pains in left knee (tape off after being on for 3 days) which made me take it very easy for the first half. Not feeling too bad all considering.
