Orienteering 32:23 [4] 3.4 km (9:31 / km) +223m 7:10 / km
weight:82.6kg shoes: Mudclaw 300 (Blue)

ESOC orienteering event at Castlelaw. Was planning a second rest day to help the achilles but the sun was shining and there was an event on and... avoided the long course and enjoyed short fast run on terrain which is really runnable at this time of year.

Running warm up/down 11:00 [1] 2.0 km (5:30 / km)
shoes: Mudclaw 300 (Blue)

Running 30:50 [1] 5.7 km (5:25 / km)
weight:82.6kg shoes: GTS 18

Left Achilles pretty sore (very localised) walking, did set off to HBT but it was not settling easy and just jogged home instead.

Running 28:30 [1] 5.4 km (5:17 / km) +65m 4:59 / km
weight:82.6kg shoes: GTS 18

Easy lunchtime run, not too bad.

Running intervals 55:00 intensity: (30:00 @1) + (25:00 @5) 11.3 km (4:52 / km) +130m 4:36 / km
shoes: GTS 18

Martin's intervals on a surprisingly cold, foggy and generally miserable Tuesday evening.

Feeling OK but still pretty slow: 3'55, 3'47, 3'53, 3'50, 3'51 or something like that. Ave. 3'51 or so. Hmmm. That's meant to be HM pace. Maybe if I lose 10kg...

Left achilles was fairly sore early in the day to the point I almost didn't go. Care needed.

Felt fairly good on a faster than usual easy lunchtime run.
