Recovery run mostly off road around Blackford & Braids. Tired but woke up a bit later.

National XC @ Falkirk. 444/719, +42%. Quite happy with that. The start was a rather peculiar 1.5 laps of a circuit before 3 normal laps and it was a good kilometer before it was possible to run properly. Started to feel really quite good in second lap and ran past George, Dan, Ivor, faded very slightly at end and didn't pass RobF or ColinC although I had got close half way through the second lap. Knee started hurting near the end but coped. Definitely feel like I'm starting to get my act together again.

TT was 6 x 45", 6 x 30", 8 x 15" tapering for the national. Didn't do it flat out obvs but good to stretch the legs a bit without overdoing it. Felt really quite good warming up for the first time in a million years.

Went to MPC Monday for once, to get a session in today before chillaxing for the National. Was quite tired. 3 x 8 mins (3 min recovery). Couldn't keep up with the group/anyone, really feels like weight is the issue rather than anything else at the moment. Still, managed some decent effort.
