Scottish Spring, Falkland Estate. I was glad I had decided to only do short brown as I was really quite tired (longest week for a year), really struggled on the uphills. Some scrappy nav. at the beginning and my concentration must have gone entirely by the end as I managed to make a 5 minute error getting from the last control to the finish!

Scottish Spring middle distance, blue course @ Tentsmuir. 19/97. Surprisingly actually felt good and ran positively. The course was pretty easy as most controls were very near clear vegetation or path features. Wobbled a little on 7 and 15. Was losing places from control 11 onwards, I think I was starting to get tired. 3 seconds behind Ray, shouldn't have stopped to tie my shoelaces :-)

25/56 on course 2 @ Scottish Spring @ Falkland Palace. Great fun although controls 1 and 2 were a good pre-JK reminder to read the map. Lost over a minute and didn't get my head down so much on the running. Weather described as "bitterly sunny".

Resting up a bit for the weekend. Looks like my weight is going down although it is annoying that when I type in the box it remembers autofill values more than 10kg below my current weight.

TT was 10 x 2 min reps up Master's Edge, down tourist path. I was remarkably bad at the very steep bit at the beginning, briefly last, then improved a bit. Good run but my hill running remains shocking above a certain gradient. Jogged to BB with DanC who seemed to accelerate on the last bit.
