Running race 1:51:08 [4] 20.65 km (5:23 / km) +234m 5:06 / km
ahr:128 max:146 weight:84.5kg shoes: Gel 1000s Black Jul 2019

Kirkcaldy parks 0.5 mar. Really great course, and fun running round the place where I first started running. Wish my PB up Oriel Rd from my teens was somewhere on Strava. Sadly my running was shocking, was at about 4'30ks up the hill and along, Catriona Bruce caught up, another woman said she had followed me around the 7 Hills and my route had been really good, both then disappeared into the distance and I died quite badly, at only about 15k, jogging in at 6'30ks with about 200 people overtaking me. My HR never got above 142 for any length of time. The anaerobic fitness is still there but my strength is just terrible. Really awful. Still, my knees and achilles did at least manage to complete a 0.5 mar without injury. I will get there. I hope. Really this was jimmy jogger performance. Running through Dysart with fog on the Forth and along the prom would have been great but...

Running 30:43 [2] 6.1 km (5:02 / km) +71m 4:46 / km
weight:85.6kg shoes: Gel 1000s Black Jul 2019

Still tapering, HFW with 2k at what felt like HM pace, although it turned out to be 4'30ks which is not good, although HR was just mid 130s and only just got to 140 briefly.

Tapering/de-exhausting but yes I should have done something.

Running intervals 52:20 intensity: (37:20 @1) + (15:00 @4) 9.7 km (5:24 / km) +110m 5:06 / km
shoes: Gel 1000s Black Jul 2019

HFW via Martin's intervals for 3 x 1km sharpeny/tapery pre-HM, but felt shockingly tired. About 4'05-4'10. Good grief. New Polar Vantage HR/GPS after my second Suunto in a row lasted less than 2 years (after the Garmin that lasted less than 2 years). At least it thinks my HR got up to 145-146 on each which means I was nowhere near aerobically flat out, just knackered. It has guessed my max HR is 220-age. It's quite a bit below that annoyingly.
