Long run from Balerno to Thriepmuir to Currie down WoL with 2 shoe changes as icy by the reservoirs. Had been aiming for 80k week, didn't quite make it, needed to get back and really quite tired at end so didn't add more. Still, I've definitely progressed. Lovely day to be out.

End of dry January. Had hoped it might cause weight loss but not really!

Incl. 4 x 1km reps on Queen's Drive, by myself, in the dark, in the rain, as part of HBT-Carnethy segment smackdown challenge. 4 min for a km. Hmm. Although given lack of any fast recent running, dark and rain that was OK.

Including some evening laps of the meadows, there are so many runners atm it is quite motivating. Some k feeling easy a little faster than 5 mins which is nice to see again.
