Not a bad run, but I was suffering after the boat last night, and generally after the lack of sleep and decent food since Thursday. A couple of the slower routes and a big hesitation getting caught out by the fences at #9, just lacking the running speed (which isn't really surprising).

Jukola - Ravinen 2, leg 7.

Aim for the team was a top 100, and after a bad first leg it was touch and go as to whether we would get it. Started in 102(didn't know this at the time) and gained some places in the first 1/3. I was feeling good through this section until around #8. At this point my stomach started to turn a bit sour; tried to push on through it but after a terrible route to #9, by #11 it was feeling fairly rough. Tried to eat something to help it out, but to no avail. Then the mistakes came and #12, route to #13 and #14. By #16 I was really struggling to keep it up, with people I'd passed ages before coming back to me. Struggled through #17 to the end, coming in in 102. So no places lost, but none gained. The team seemed fairly pleased with it but I'm fairly disappointed. No excuses, needed more focus on the navigation, but almost zero sleep over the past 3 days, and the lack of food and general terrible quality of it clearly took its toll. Hopefully next year will be slightly better, and at least the team didn't mis-punch this year.

Easy run around the model area with Jonny, Sasha and Adam. Nav was pretty rusty, and legs not great, hopefully will be better tomorrow.
