Cycling hills (Toowoomba Hills) 1:15:00 [4] 35.0 km (2:09 / km) +100m 2:07 / km

35 km loop of Toowoomba, some very good hills to test the legs, as well as som great down hills to test the areo position. Great ride, really should have been followed by a coffee.......

This will be a good ride for the Toowoomba camp

Running intervals (Hill intervals) 1:00:00 [4] 5.0 km (12:00 / km)

warm up, 2km run wuth hill / stair climb, drills. Main set 120m hill x 16 with 120m active recovery, 2 x 600m race pace with 2 min rest between.

Good session with high intensity, cough prevented gettign up to higher intensity. Legs felt good and runing was fine. Looking good for Mooloolaba if can get rid of cough

Cycling intervals (TT Intervals) 55:00 [4] 30.0 km (1:50 / km)

spinning to warm up (45sec x 6), main set 5 x 5min TT intervals between 80-89% followed by 8 x 45sec high intensity (90%) efforts with 15 sec recovery. Cool down 2 min easy spin with stretching.

Overall hard session, will continue until Mooloolaba good for increasing pace and lifting AT.

This is something Al will look forward to doing as we get closer to Septembers Individual TT
