Orienteering (Orienteering Race) 1:20:00 [3] 6.0 mi (13:20 / mi)

Did orienteering race at Mt. Tom - guess 6 miles total? Ran/hiked for route - got 11 controls.

Running (Easy run) 30:00 [2] 3.5 mi (8:34 / mi)

Easy run at Mt. Tom after completed orienteering course. Felt good, even on uphills.

Easy run - extremely hilly and technical, from Amethyst Brook to Mt. Toby via Robert Frost Trail. Felt slightly sluggish, but ok.

Running race (Road Race) 48:00 [5] 7.0 mi (6:51 / mi)

Ran Feaster Five Road Race (5 miles) in 5 mile PR - 32:50. Felt great during race, pretty even splits (last mile was fastest - but is mostly downhill). Did 15 minutes warm-up (~2 miles) before race. Not much cool down (due to finish-line logistics, and Thanksgiving obligations).

Running (Easy Run) 1:05:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:07 / mi)

Easy run with the girls around Holyoke. Felt good, hilly loop.

Running (Easy Run) 36:00 [3] 4.8 mi (7:30 / mi)

Easy run at Holyoke Reservoir - felt good (maybe a hair too fast) - followed by 8 minutes of strides and running form drills.

Running (Treadmill Run) 40:00 [3] 4.85 mi (8:15 / mi)

Struggled with this workout - did a set of increasing % grades up to 7% the first round, then up to 6% the second round, and on the 3rd time up to 2-3% I stopped. Felt extremely nauseated in the gym on the TM - plus I think I run too far forward on the TM, so my stride isn't the typical length and I was working hard even at the 0% grade to keep up 8:13/mile pace. I'm disappointed in myself for this workout, but really couldn't keep it up. (For the record, 40 minutes is the longest I've ever lasted on a TM before.) See cool down, to get in a few more minutes.

Walking warm up/down (Treadmill Walk) 15:00 [1] 1.05 mi (14:17 / mi)

Did walking at 4.2 on treadmill for a mile - did 1/4 mile at 5% grade, 1/4 mile at 10% grade, and repeated. Was tough but felt after the failed TM run workout I needed to do something.
