Running (Easy Run) 1:45:00 [1] 12.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

Easy run w/ Brian - from house to Pike, then along Old Holyoke Road to the Reservoir, around and up to WTP, then short way through trails back home. Another hot day, enjoyed a shorter run.

Got the opportunity to run w/ Zeke and Kim on the Camp 10 Bear Loop of the VT100 course. Went easy (at their pace) and relaxed - did some course clearing along the way (which slowed the early miles). Was fortunate to get out on the course and start to visualize the course. Even just running that short section, I had flashback of how much of a grind those roads are after a while.

Running (Treadmill workout) 35:00 [3] 4.5 mi (7:47 / mi)

Did the TM workout - started at 8:45/mile pace for first 0.5 miles then increased pace by 0.1 mph every 2 minutes (so I wouldn't have to look at the display) and made it to 7:15/mile pace. Held that for 1/2 mile and then just didn't want to do any more. It was amazing outside...so I went out to run.

Running (Easy run) 1:15:00 [1] 9.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

Easy run with Brian to Pike and back. Felt good, but as the hottest day of the year (so far), it was a 'sticky' run.

Walking (Hiking/running) 2:05:00 [1] 12.5 mi (10:00 / mi)

Ran w/ Damien around Whiting Reservoir once, then picked up Nick for short way to B17. Did 3 repeats up B17 - power hiking up, running down (trying to hit the downhills a bit). Then, ran short way back to cars. Felt much better than last week's repeats - about the same time each hike up.

Easy run w/ Abby and Kim in Holyoke. Added on 1.5 miles to start and finish of the regular 8 mile run.

Squeezed in weights before visiting my parents. Felt weird tweek in my shoulder that I haven't felt in years - I will watch this.

Running (Hill repeats) 1:45:00 [3] 11.0 mi (9:33 / mi)

Hill workout at Whiting/Mt. Tom w/ Abby and Erik. Did ~3 miles warmup (25 minutes) then did 8 repeats up B17 - 3:03 for the first one (my watch stopped so I had to rely on others to time the first one, it was a bit long by mistake), then to the same point did 3:05, 3:04, 3:03, 3:01, 2:57, 2:56, 3:00. Felt good, but hard. Did ~3 miles (25 minutes) cooldown.
