Running (Ultra Race) 5:16:40 [3] 35.0 mi (9:03 / mi)

Bimbler's Bluff - "50k"...really 35ish miles. Felt like absolute crap and was really fighting myself out there...but was pleased to only be a minute slower than last year (especially since they added 2k to the course, plus everyone got lost and ran an extra 1/2 mile or so at the beginning).

Unintentional day off - emergency at work, so I didn't have the chance to run. I guess it's not a bad thing...but I would have loved to relieve some of the stress!

Easy run w/ Annie - new route near her house. Had a few rollers...it was fun!

Easy run w/ Kim around her house - felt good, relaxed. I think we were running a bit faster than normal, but I felt really smooth and didn't feel the extra speed. :)

Easy run w/ team. Team was doing Prefontaines, so I ran along with them in sections of the workout, but wasn't doing much more than a continuous jog myself.

Easy run w/ Annie - did loop from my house up County Line and back around Hamden Ponds. Felt good - Annie and I managed to finish in one piece this time. Hill at my house still sucks. :)

Biking (Easy bike ride) 47:00 [1] 12.0 mi (3:55 / mi)

Super early super easy bike ride - rode bike path to work (car going into the shop). I might have to do this more often - it was fun to spin easy and relax on my way to work. The only frustration was the chill (it was cold!) plus it took me a while to position the headlamp correctly so I could see. Oh well.

Second bike ride of the day was from the car shop back home - was cruising along (thanks to to tailwind!).

Running (Easy tempo run) 52:00 [2] 6.5 mi (8:00 / mi)

Easy run w/ team - turned into tempo run. Did 1 mile warmup, then paced Keith through a 5 mile PR - he finished in 37:38 - best time by over 3 minutes! Cool down ~0.5 mile.
