Biking (Easy bike ride) 1:30:00 [1] 27.0 mi (3:20 / mi)

Easy spin - had to get in my ride before Kim's bridal shower, so I woke up and spun while reading Into Thin Air. Uugghhh...but it worked up a sweat.

Unsure the distance - rode the bike on the trainer for about 1.75 hours, then once it heated up outside went for another 1.25 hours outside with Brian (up to E'town and back). Felt good, but calf did tighten up a bit after a while.

Day off - did plenty of stretching and some yoga - trying to stretch out the calf muscle and make things better...

Running (Track workout) 1:10:00 [4] 9.0 mi (7:47 / mi)

Track workout w/ Abby, Laura and Kim. Warmed up from Abby's house to the Holyoke Track (2 miles, ~15 minutes), then did 6 x 800s. Goal was 8 x 800s at 3:05s, but my calf was stiff and I wasn't running my normal stride at all - I struggled through the first 4 at around 3:09 - 3:11 pace, then the 5th was 3:15, the 6th was 3:17. The girls noticed me limping on the 6th one and forced me to call it a day and cool down to Abby's house (2 miles, ~16 minutes). Recovery between intervals was 400. Calf just won't loosen up.

Easy run w/ Annie - did hilly loop from my house to East Street, back on Middle Street and around. We both felt tired and sluggish this morning, and it showed! I had a horrible night of sleep, and my right calf is super tight, so I know I was relaxing and dragging. Oh well, hopefully I have time for some yoga this afternoon!

Easy run w/ Abby from Kathy's shop - ran up to Whiting Reservoir, around and back. Felt ok except my right calf is super tight and made me run stiffer. Glad to have company - it was rainy and nasty today and the motivation to get outside wasn't there (especially when my original training buddy bailed due to weather!), so Abby saved me!
