Biked w/ Brian over to Sugarloaf, then hiked up and over mountain and back around, biked home. About 1 hour of fun total, legs felt great.

Easy run w/ Kim - testing out contacts on the trails, so we ran from her office up to Smith and around their XC course. Felt ok, calf still a hair tight.

Easy run w/ Kim from her house up to the Smith Trails and around. Felt good, but could feel yesterday on the few steep climbs.

Running (Easy/Tempo Run) 1:45:00 [3] 12.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

Easy/tempo run at Sugarloaf w/ Brian, Brad, and Aaron. Started out perhaps a hair fast (running with the boys!) but settled into an easy pace with Brian as the others picked it up a bit. We ran 55 minutes out to the 2nd road crossing. Ran back to the 1st road crossing (~10 min?) and tried to 'tempo' run the rest of the way back to the car. It felt great at first, but was grinding after 20+ minutes of gradual turning speed climbing...then the downhill had a few technical sections that were tough to keep the pace up on. All-in-all the return trip was 5 minutes faster over ~5 miles, so I felt good about that - but felt that I made up more time on the flat/slight downs than any other section. The calf was a hair tight, but loosened up after a bit. It was super hot/humid, so it feels like summer training finally - a few hours on the trails after work, dehydration afterwards...

Easy run on Earl's Trails w/ Erik - tried to do the typical loop, but cut off a section to cut the distance, and ended up in a maze of mountain biking trails...but I think it worked out ok. Felt ok, calf a bit tight.
