Super easy run w/ Jen - around the trails by Matt's house. Just wanted to stretch out the legs...

Easy hike with Brian to Sugarloaf, up and over...great to stretch out the legs with him. :)

Note

I did the marathon expo...but I actually did nothing for an entire weekend day! I was pretty proud of myself, because it was beautiful outside and I was itching to do soemthing! The expo was so overstimulating that after that it did zap my energy and I was ready to go home and crash...

Easy run w/ Laura and Annie...our 'pre-marathon' shake-out run. I'm having the typical 'does that leg feel ok?' freakout that I typically get when I reduce my mileage...but otherwise feeling good.

Super easy run - I mostly paced my last-place girl, so we were going at her pace.

Easy run - ran w/ Norm and Nicole around the Holyoke Reservoir. But, towards the end of the run I ran w/ Abby for a bit. Great to enjoy a beautiful day.

Easy run around Holyoke w/ Kim - we did a shorter version of the 'typical Holyoke route', and I added on around HCC after Kim left (she didn't feel great). Good to run with her - it's been a while!

Hill repeats w/ Brad around the Notch - we warmed up for about 20 minutes, and then scoped out a jeep trail that ran from the small reservoir by Hampshire College up towards the Sisters ridge - finding a grinding climb that took us just over 6 minutes on our first moderate climb (~6:15) - then we did it much harder 4 more times - 5:54, 6:00, 5:45, 5:39. The last two I was almost puking by the top - but I was actually keeping up with Brad, and the two of us were just pushing the other (since he wanted to beat me, and I was just following his cadence up the hill). Great workout, we were both pretty dead afterwards. Did about 20 minutes cool down back to our cars.
