Running (Easy uphill run) 1:30:00 [1] 10.7 mi (8:25 / mi) +900ft 7:47 / mi

Easy run w/ Annie - did the dreaded 'Granville Mountain' climb from Stanley Park to the top of Granville. Felt good...actually felt strong ont he hills and kept accidently dropping Annie as I jsut chugged up the climbs. Glad it went well! :)

Running (Easy longer run) 2:20:00 [1] 17.0 mi (8:14 / mi)

Easy run w/ Kelsey B. - did out and back from Atkins Reservoir to Leverett Co-op and back...rolling dirt roads. Felt great, really enjoyed the run. It was about 1000% humidity, so we had to take it a bit easy and hydrate a ton. I was dreanched by the time I finished, and couldn't keep up with my thirst. Legs felt great, however, and we did push the tempo a bit over the 2nd half of the run.

Running (Easy run) 1:10:00 [1] 7.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Easy trail run w/ Mike - we did the 'tour of the bog bridges'...and he showed me the best view in Amherst. Fun, relaxed run.

Running (Easy run) 1:01:00 [1] 8.0 mi (7:37 / mi)

Easy run w/ Laura, from her house down to Abby's house (and around Whiting Res.) - another humid day, so I was just dripping by the time we ended. Legs felt ok, but body is tired/worn (dehydration maybe?).

Running (Easy run) 1:30:00 [1] 10.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Ran the typical Earl's Trails loop...felt a-ok for most of it, and then about an hour in I felt completely dead...I walked a few uphills. Maybe I was dehydrated or something? I was completely soaked by the end of the run, and finished my waterbottle alarmingly fast. Oh well - just a crappy run.

Running (Easy run) 1:30:00 [1] 10.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Easy run w/ Aaron at Sugarloaf...nothing special, things felt good. Tried out the new Inov8 shoes, and they were nice. I was completely klutzy on the run - scrapped both my knees, twisted the ankles a few times, and (saving the best for last) scraped the side of my face on a tree that I didn't see...so now I look like Brian's been abusing me! But, I don't blame the shoes, I know I was just really stupid with my running today.

Note

After running for a week straight every day, I took this as a much needed recovery...the legs feel ok, I'm just super tired.
