Spun...had run the last several days so I wanted to be sure to get in the cross training. Hamstring feels ok, but still being cautious.

Ran the Sisters, Notch to Summit House and back, with Nick, Wayne, and Alex...we hiked the uphills and just enjoyed the day. Glad the leg was ok with the distance and the up/down...but I also was super conservative. :)

Lots of stretching after I ran...plus a bit of stretching/strengthening when I got home.

Easy trail run w/ Meghan. We ran close to the loop I run with Brad around the Notch...I was super easy with the hamstring - promising myself that just cause it felt good was not license to run long/hard!

Did some orienteering w/ Alex at Mt. Tom...this was the perfect thing for my hamstring...because it wasn't a long distance, or fast - but I was able to get out on my feet for a while. We warmed up about 20 minutes, then did a ~5k course in 1:10, and returned to our cars in about 15 minutes. Guessing we did 7 miles on the day? Don't know, don't really care.

Did an easy trail run w/ Alex on Earl's Trails. In typical 'orienteering style', Alex requested that we do a 'normal trail run...you know, on the trails'. Something only an orienteerer would say. Luckily, the hamstring was ok, but I took it easy.

Spin at home, again, this morning...babying the hamstring.

Brian came home and insisted that I try out the leg...after a week of moping. It does feel less hurt and potentially like I might be ok. We ran up and over Sugarloaf (1/2 roads, 1/2 trails). Everything went ok - it started to hurt in the last 5 minutes, so I stretched a ton, rolled it, and hope it's ok tomorrow. I'll go shorter for a few days I guess.

Spin before work...hamstring still twingy...but worked up a sweat.
