Running (Easy run) 1:05:00 [1] 8.5 mi (7:39 / mi)
Easy run around Noho with Amanda, Jess, and Laura. Felt good...I think we started super easy, and picked it up a bit when we dropped off Amanda, and then Laura and I cranked through the last 2 miles after Jess left us. Legs feel great - body is a bit tender from yesterday's circuit session, but it's a great pain!!!
Running (Hill Tempo Run) 1:20:00 [3] 8.5 mi (9:25 / mi)
Did mountain tempo run w/ Abby, Ashley, and Dawn at Mt. Tom. We warmed up ~2.25 miles (20 minutes?), then did 4.5 miles tempo from Rt. 5, up and around Whiting, and up B17 - so uphill for ~0.5 mile (100' climb), flat/rolling for 3 miles, then steep up last 1 mile (800' climb). Ugghh! I felt ok until we hit B17, then I did my ultrarunning shuffle and the mountain chicks kicked my butt! It was hard, took me 40 minutes of tempo. We recovered super easy back down (other ladies had stomach issues, so we were almost walking)...and back to cars. Man, it'll make me stronger, but they beat me up!!!
Yoga (Stretching!!!) 20:00 [1]
I was very good about stretching today - after my morning run, I spent 10 minutes stretching, and then again before and after my afternoon run - plenty of stretching. Yay! Pat on the back.
