Running (Trail run) 1:45:00 [1] 11.0 mi (9:33 / mi)

Ran to Sugarloaf, around, and back with Abby and Molly. Legs felt surprisingly good - wasn't sure if they would be a bit tired or not. Glad to get in a run...

Running (Road run) 1:15:00 [1] 6.0 mi (12:30 / mi)

Road and trail run - Brian got me out to run up and over Sugarloaf and back on the roads. Was good to shake it out again, but the legs certainly felt the fatigue with this run. Oh well...

Running (Ultra/Trail) 4:48:00 [3] 31.0 mi (9:17 / mi)

Catamount Ultras - did the race on tired legs, but wanted to get in a long run. Felt good through most of the race, really faded in the last 4 miles...but whatever! Positive split the two laps by about 10 minutes (boo!), somewhat due to the heat, and somewhat due to dying in the 2nd lap. Oh well - great day out on the trails...ran alone most of the time but zoned out to my music.

Running (Trails/hills) 1:30:00 [3] 7.5 mi (12:00 / mi)

Ran at Mt. Toby with Sara - went up the steep way, then down and up the powerline (with my goal to run the entire way up the powerline). Took me 16:30, and my legs were BURNING towards the end. Ran back down the steep way afterwards. But, we'll keep doing this and get better!!!

Road/dirt road run with Sarah around Easthampton and Northampton. Felt much better than last week's run, yet we ran in the same time...amazing how the heat can play such an affect.

Yoga (Hot yoga) 1:30:00 [1]

Hitting up yoga after a hot/muggy run wasn't the greatest...I felt like I was going to pass out a few times. Oh well!!!

Running intervals (Track workout) 50:00 [4] 6.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

Track workout with CCC folks. Warmed up about a mile, then did 5 x 1000 at 10k pace (6:10?) with 1:15/1:30 recovery. Intervals went better than I expected - did: 3:50, 3:50, 3:50, 3:49, 3:44 (Erik interval). Felt hard, but not all-out. Cooled down about a mile.

Circuits (Abs) 10:00 [3]

Did an awesome abs workout with the CCC folks post-workout.

Running (Trails) 1:30:00 [1] 7.5 mi (12:00 / mi)

Ran the M&M/RFT over Norwottuck, to my 1.5 hour turn-around and back. Felt a bit sluggish, but ok. Fun to run with Carolyn and hear about her adventures.

Easy run around Earl's Trails with Caroline and Erik. Felt good and relaxed, except my Achilles is a bit tender.

Easy trail run with Howie - ran at Amethyst, out and back. Was hot and humid, but nice to be out. Achilles is a bit tender!

Running (Trail/road run) 1:20:00 [1] 7.5 mi (10:40 / mi)

Ran from my house to Sugarloaf, then around a bit and back with Aaron and Sara. Aaron and I tacked on a lap around my neighborhood to add another mile. Calf/Achilles is a bit tender, but ok.
