Running (Trail run) 2:03:00 [1] 8.0 mi (15:22 / mi)
ahr:123

Trail run at Mt. Tom - trails were complete trash!!! Boilerplate ice in most parts, and sloppy mud in the few non-icy spots. Was frustrated to get in such low mileage, but whatever. Surprisingly the legs feel ok.

Running (Road run) 1:11:00 [2] 9.3 mi (7:38 / mi)
ahr:151

Needed to get in 9 more miles to get in my weekly total, so I convinced Brian to do a quick run around the mountain with me. I tacked on a few miles at the end of the run by myself...I'm learning I tend to pick up the pace when I run by myself, but I'm surprised that I feel ok and can easily pick up the pace after this week! Last mile was a 6:54.

Running (Road run) 3:37:00 [3] 26.4 mi (8:13 / mi)
ahr:151

Road marathon - 3 laps around the mountain with a few neighborhoods to make it 8.65 per lap (then had to add on a 1/4 mile stretch at the end). Started with Colleen and Molly for lap 1 (1:13, avg. 8:26), then Colleen and Ruthie joined for the next lap (1:13, avg. 8:26). After Colleen peeled off around mile 19, Ruthie and I opened up our strides a bit to finish strong (1:11:30, avg. 7:54). Ended up with the run a hair longer than 26.2, but I wanted to be sure that my watch registered the full marathon...so my marathon time was technical about 3:36. Felt great, even closed out the run with a 7:18 final mile!

Walking (Hiking) 1:30:00 [1] 4.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

Was so nice outside, so Brian and I went for a hike to Sugarloaf and back...and in shorts! :)

Running (Road running) 1:42:00 [1] 12.4 mi (8:14 / mi)
ahr:140

Felt tough to get going this morning, but ran with Abby and Laura in Holyoke. Laura did first 6, then Abby and I added on another few miles (with a few striders in there). I felt good and opted to tack on a few more miles, and kept going...must have felt in the groove, since my last mile was a 7:40. Yay!

Run at Notch with Frank. Felt a bit tired, but ok.

Running (Trail run) 1:31:00 [1] 7.4 mi (12:18 / mi)
ahr:132

Run at Notch with group...trails were snowy but not in horrible shape.

Running (Track workout) 1:40:00 [3] 12.0 mi (8:20 / mi)
ahr:147

Warmed up ~3.5 miles with Laura and Abby, then did indoor track workout with the girls (plus Liz and Kelsey). Wanted to 'tempo' run my workout, so I did 10 x 800s - goal of doing them in around 3:15 each. Felt good, and held that pace the whole time (between 3:13 and 3:15 the whole time). 400 recovery between each, and about a mile cool down at the end.

Running (Road run) 1:21:00 [1] 9.2 mi (8:48 / mi)
ahr:133

Ran around UMass, then did a few Amity Hill repeats with Caroline and Kelly Anne. Tummy was not feeling good, so I struggled a bit. First mile felt the worst, then as I warmed up the pace felt easier.

Running (Road run) 1:27:00 [1] 10.3 mi (8:27 / mi)
ahr:140

Road run through Amherst with Laura. It had snowed overnight and was freezing rain during the run...so it was slow going at times. But, great to get out!

Running (Road run) 1:15:00 [1] 8.2 mi (9:09 / mi)

Ran around Sugarloaf with Sara. Was planning to do a few repeats up the mountain, but made it to the bend...through ankle deep slush...and turned around, opting to do a lap around the mountain instead.

Running (Trail run) 3:00:00 [1] 14.0 mi (12:51 / mi)
ahr:133

Snowy trail run with Jake - hit up Earl's Trails for a loop, then shot over to Lithia Springs for a loop and finally up RFT extension to Bear Mtn as the last push. Trails are mostly in good shape (tracked out) with a few exceptions where the trail was slow!!!
