XC skied around Quebec with Jenny. Did portions of the course from the previous day, and explored. Great to get out on skis for once this winter!!!

Run around Quebec roads - anytime I found a hill, I ran up it twice...ran down to the river a few different ways and explored the city.

Note

Didn't do anything on Wednesday or Thursday - weather was challenging both days, and I spent Wednesday night driving to VT for a meeting then spent Thursday driving to Canton to pick up Jenny then heading to Quebec (11 hours total in the car!). Long days!!!

Track workout with Laura (and others). Warmed up outside about 4 miles, then did another mile warmup on the track before starting the workout. Did tempo workout - 3 x 2 miles at Laura's goal half marathon pace (my dream half pace?), so we were supposed to do 13:15 - 13:20, then 13:05 - 13:10, then 13:00 - 13:05. Did 13:13, 13:05, 12:58. Recovery was 400 easy between each. Felt good, except that the last half mile or so of the last interval was a bit of a stretch to maintain pace. Cooled down about a mile.

Easy road run in Holyoke with Abby, Molly and Laura. Legs felt a little draggy early on, but loosened up later into the run. Glad to push and get in 12 miles this morning.
