Running (Ultra race) 9:22:00 [4] 50.0 mi (11:14 / mi)

Bear Mountain 50 miler. I've been scared of this race, so I wanted to start easy and be smart...so I ran conservative and consistent...and finished with a solid time. Felt strong over the closing 10 miles, which was a huge goal of mine!!!

Biking (Spinning) 1:00:00 [1] 15.0 mi (4:00 / mi)

Easy spin on the bike to stretch out the legs. Felt good.

Running (Mtn run) 1:24:00 [1] 9.3 mi (9:02 / mi)
ahr:150

Mountain training with Abby. Warmed up ~2 miles, then did tempo from Rt. 5, up access road, long way around Whiting Reservoir, and up B17. 4.4 miles total, 37:16 (3.4 miles flat - did 7:15, 7:01, 6:48, 3:14/0.4; then 1 miles up B17 - 12:58). I think (hope) it was a minute or two faster than the last time I did the workout...but my notes from last time just say 'almost 40 minutes'. Either way, my legs are pretty darn beat up after the last several days of training...this was hard!

Cooled down for a few miles easy.

Orienteering 1:21:00 [1] 3.5 mi (23:08 / mi)
ahr:107

Basically walked my way through the Mt. Tom orienteering course. Had trouble with a few controls, but others I was pleased with how easily I found them. Either way, fun course.
