NordicTrak 10:00 [3]

Erg rowing 23:49 [3] 5.0 km (4:46 / km)

Played 18-holes of golf in 4 of the last seven days. Such a concentration as I get older is quite exhausting, when the 2-3 mile walk from the bus is included. Conditions very wet; wading through water on over half the fairways. So I ached all over when I sat down to row.

My rowing buddy Charlie is having trouble doing any workouts; only was able to row 500m yesterday. Injured himself orienteering. As much as I love that sport, the camaraderie, and the exposure to nature, I think it is a risky sport for an old guy. And unless you like traveling for hours just to walk very carefully on forest paths, you're wiser to give up orienteering after 65-70, and take up something else. Like golf! A civilized form of O!
