City running 1:31:00 [3] 5.2 mi (17:30 / mi) +10m 17:24 / mi
shoes: New Balance 610AR

Taking Charlie's advice, I ran this morning instead of rowed. All the way down to the Loop for the Chicago Women's March. Joined in for a few blocks. Huge crowd, moving very slowly. Finally had to break away and look for an L train to take me home. Sun was very warm, so lots of radiant heat reflecting off the wet pavement, but still cool and windy, so conductive and evaporative losses more then compensated for the sun. High for this January day was in the 60's! Wore the Allendale hat sent to me by Soupbone's wife...with a stick to perk up those pussy ears!

Very strong feeling of community, intelligence, and shared ideals. Lots of very creative signs and slogans. This is Barack and Hillary's home town after all. Mr T is going to have a tough time selling Chicago on his programs.
