Joe Lewis 'The Champ' GC, Riverdale. First 70 degree day in 2019...normal first is two weeks ago. Also Cubs Home Opener. And by the looks of it, Wrigley Field four blocks away, is going to be the 'happening' place in the midwest today! Might stroll up there and have a beer during the seventh inning, when everyone sings.
Great day of golf too. 90 minute commute by L train and suburban bus to this long 6742yd Chicago Forest Preserve GC that I haven't played for three years. It is going to take a few rounds to get my endurance up for a comfortable 18-holes. Terrible score today...but still, a few good shots to remember. Bright sun; no wind; a perfect day for golf...or baseball!
