Burnham Woods GC, Hegwisch. A little-played Cook Co. golf course, on the far SE side, almost in Indiana. Took an L train then the South Shore RR to Hegwisch, then walked a mile, and teed off at 7:15am. Range was closed because all range balls had been stolen (!), so went right out.
Overnight rain had just stopped, and everything was dripping wet. So first few holes were a bit soggy. Somewhere around the turn the sun came out, and the Back was played with pleasure...and a new PR!
