Saturday run out in the western neighborhoods...Wicker Park, Humboldt Park, Bucktown. Lots going on. Gotta check these areas annually just to keep abreast of the new places and things to do. Ran the
606 Bike Trail, converted from an elevated rail line last year, a lá High Line in NYC. Great running!
The whole purpose of this western run was to get my last two stamps from micro-breweries to complete my
Chicago Craft Beer Week passport, which I guess earns me another tee shirt. But a fun adventure anyway, exploring bars and neighborhoods I seldom visit, and trying weird brews developed just for the beer cognoscenti that show up for this special week in the spring.
