Wanted to run yesterday. But it was in the low 20's and very windy. Just not up for getting sick. Same conditions all weekend. Just going to have to fake it next Saturday: run/walk/run til I get there.
It's not that I'm so much faster at a dead run these days. So 'training' really has little application to my running. Not so with rowing tho. Wish I'd done a few more sprint pieces in February.

Now that the rowing competition is out of the way, I've got to get in shape for a ten-miler in less than two weeks. So the plan is to ratchet up from here to 8-9 miles next week, a couple days rest, then the event on Saturday, March 18. All the while, continuing my 4:30am rowing workouts in the basement, and maybe some golf in there somewhere. Whew!
