Lemont 10-Miler. Up and down the hillside four times in ten miles! Race location was across the valley from the Waterfall Glen map, with similar hillsides carved by all the glacial run-off from the Great Lakes, before Niagara Falls was clear. Beat one other guy in my 75-79 age group to come in First Place! Ha ha. And a couple minutes faster than last year! Of course the weather could have had something to do with it...today was a brilliant spring day.

My normal 5000m, then a one-minute piece for the books: 263m at a 1:54 pace. Only 7m less than last year's PR, despite a 24-hr fast and colonoscopy yesterday, with accompanying 'prep.' Very exhausted after the procedure, and went to bed at 5pm. Ugh.
