NordicTrak 10:00 [3]

Erg rowing 24:08 [3] 5.0 km (4:50 / km)

Quite sluggish this morning. Josiah and I went down to meet Soupbone and the CAOC guys to wander around the many stages of the Chicago Blues Fest in Millennium Park yesterday. Some really good sounds, good friends, bad beer. Nothing but AB-InBev products, in a town with 35 breweries now!

Biking around the Northside with my Niece's son, who came to Chicago to work for a couple of weeks on my buildings before he joins his father in Michigan, producing one of the US's largest electronic rock shows this summer...The Electric Forest!

NordicTrak 10:00 [3]

Erg rowing 24:03 [3] 5.0 km (4:49 / km)

Really stiff and sore from yesterday's 5k. Couldn't even hold a 24 minute workout on the rower. Seems like I get weaker by the month these days.

Running 48:05 [4] 5.0 km (9:37 / km) +10m 9:31 / km

Roselle Run for the Roses 5k. Felt pretty good, despite threatening weather. Thunder in the distance, and was afraid they'd cancel the race halfway along...after I spent nearly $100 to get to the thing, what with rental car, race entry fee, gas and tolls to get out there.

Last time I did this, two years ago, I ran a 44:19. Today I barely beat a 92-year old! Oh well...take your victories where you can get them, as bl reminded me a couple of weeks ago. At least I'm still showing up!
