Ran up to show one of my vacant 1BRs to a recent grad with his CEO father
from Pittsburgh. Took it on the spot essentially. Moving in tomorrow at $1795/mo. Not a bad jog. Cuts my vacancy rate.

Lake Bluff GC. First golf in more than a month. Not feeling it. But had a good outing today, after a rough start.

Left house at 5:30am. More than an hour on the train to Lake Bluff. Than a mile walk to the GC. Feeling feverish, even after a day's rest yesterday. Spent an hour on the Range, hitting balls. Then teed off. And immediately was into it. Wonderful how golf on a nice day, on a distant, uncrowded GC changes the attitude.

Sweating profusely at the start. But slowly relaxed, and began to hit some good shots. Very enjoyable. No thought of quitting at the turn. And proceeded to a 3:30 round. Only one stroke less than my PR on the Front on this GC!
