Another short piece for distance using Charlie's little secret. Improved three places in the international rankings. Pulled six more meters for 266m in the one minute time trial.

Three meters better than last year's PR too. But nothing compared with Charlie in 2016 when he was 69 and pulled 316m in a minute. Extremely anaerobic at the end; took 20 minutes for breathing to feel normal.

Pi Day...turned 78. And set a new seasonal PR for 100m (0:21.0) this morning by using a tip Charlie provided: faster stroke rates on short pieces. Took 0.3 seconds off my time by boosting my stroke rate to 46spm on the 100m. Fastest 100 since 2016...a nice b'day present! Now I wonder if I can pull at that speed on longer pieces?
