today to remove squamous cell skin cancer from right leg. The thing had expanded to look like an erupting volcano...big, crusty growth with an open top.
Two layers were removed with a surgical razor. Lot of bleeding and cauterizing. Now I have a heavily bandaged leg that I'm supposed to keep elevated for the next week, keeping dressing dry and intact. Then remove and begin soaking twice daily with a vinegar solution while the hole slowly granulates and fills in.
I've done this before. The final result is very satisfactory...smooth and clean. But it takes a long time. And for at least a week, gotta remain inactive. Kind of a drag in the middle of the summer!
