Trail Run - Long / Easy warm up/down (Wells) 15:00 [2]
shoes: Jalas Champion
Orienteering - Event race (Wells) 1:09:34 [3]*** 5.63 km (12:21 / km) +175m 10:42 / km
spiked:9/24c shoes: Jalas Champion
I had run around here a few years ago checking terrain for mapping (I wound up declining the job). Headed to the start I was trying to recall the new terrain N of powerline. I recalled a ridge of rocky, laurel infested stuff to the R that just wasn't pleasant running and what do you know, first 5 controls went right down that ridge....

Had difficulty getting into odd 7500 scale, some map elements felt 'off'... Not trusting myself or map, this run quickly degenerated to a slow, hesitant unsure tour of the park. Never enough open runnable area to really get moving.

A couple minutes lost crawling around on all fours looking for glasses which went flying a few times - (running glasses broke at Pig Middle last week)

Tomorrow should be better - warmer and more confidence in mapping (its mine with updates by J-J)

Stairs (East x6 & South x1 Stairs) 10:30 [2]+180m
Trail Run - Tempo hills (Kibbe <-> The Tower) 50:00 [3]10.5 km (4:46 / km) +265m 4:14 / km
shoes: Adidas Response Trail XI
Dirt road run from Kibbe to top of tower on Soapstone, then back. Usually do this from other side, taking downhill somewhat easy knowing the climb back is coming. Pushed the uphill pretty good, but opened it up coming back - I think HR was much higher coming down - but wasn't wearing monitor today

Wednesday Apr 5

Stairs (East Stair x4) 6:00 [2]+100m

Tuesday Apr 4

Stairs hills (East Stair x6) 9:00 [2]+150m
C • I'm impressed -- I don't think... 5
Other (Happy Feet) 30:00 [1]
Cold, raw and snowing outside, so running club was in the gym today. Easy jogging around the outside, plus 4 exercise stations - each with a series of exercises for different parts of the body. I basically demonstrated the various exercises to the kids.

Monday Apr 3

Walk (Crandalls) 1:00:00 [1]
Crandalls w/ Ellen & Hayden - some chasing Hayden on bike, then hiking trails, also some 'bouldering' with Hayden

mostly clean run, couple minor bobbles approaching circle (less than a minute each). Not terribly fast though
