A combination of the 6am & 7am loops. About a 10 minute break in between. Very steamy, glasses useless, hard to see trail. I elected not to do the 8am loop this week...

Dirt roads and overgrown vehicle track, particularly thick in the marshy spots. Deerflies present, quite humid. Apparently a Strava CR on the Snipsic climb (3:52) though it didn't feel super fast, but I was intent on not walking any of it. 1/3 mile, 8.9% climb on old vehicle track. Interesting that my heart rate dropped slightly when I hit the climb where it felt like it should have spiked... Maybe the ticker is working efficiently and it's just everything else that's screaming.... or more likely just a watch anomaly...

Nice evening for dairy bar run. Mostly trails, road coming back up Gurleyville pushing the pace just into the red zone. HR kept pace this time. Felt good.. Did a bunch of random fartlek intervals in the woods in lieu of just waiting for folks to regroup...
