Gorgeous day. Slow woods, or maybe just slow Clint. Except for a couple stints on trails, never felt I was able to run much. And a major boom on 11 - junky woods, vague contours, low vis - kept coming to same general area and seeing neither feature (boulder cluster) or flag. Almost gave up then spied the flag out of corner of my eye as I was preparing to bail, and there was indeed a boulder cluster there. I just couldnt see it in my thrashing about cursing the woods.

Just a short walk w/ Anna. Tree finally cleared up the street, road open again and power restored the the other end. We only lost power for a couple hours Thursday, but everyone from our neighbor up were out until today.

Bizzarely warm, very windy. Coyote Taco run on the Cheney Trail. Mostly sans light... Garmin shows ridiculously high heart rate - mostly zone 5, balance zone 4, plus 50m climb on an essentially flat course. I've adjusted things accordingly...
