Another full board today, but to be fair 1/3 was more of yesterday's nice white woods and at least 1/3 was big swamp - I don't field check the bowels of marshes where mortals fear to tread aside from what I can glean from aerials & lidar data. Almost enough area to have a passable Winter Series event...

Some of the soles falling off my 'new' shoes. Also road shoes flex too much in forefoot which mostly where the residual pain is coming from now. Haven't tried any off trail running though, nor have I ordered any new shoes.

Pretty decent hill area, lots of laurel and slippery freshly fallen oak leaves. Not a good combination, kept slipping and falling in the 2nd hand road shoes with no tread. So bailed on that area and working a flatter area just west of there including the area around control #14. Need to order some real shoes tonight...
