Covered a fair piece of ground today - partly because some of it was wide open woods, and had some preliminary field work done a while back. Cut it short of where I wanted to be though as it started raining a little before noon even though it wasn't forecast to rain until this evening. Light rain and low 40s - not a winning combination for field checking. And cleared the 3 km threshold. About 7/10 of a km left on the segment I want finished for winter series events. Then will continue expanding the map to the north and west as well as finish up the work I did on the segment south of the powerlines back in the springtime.
