New Year's Eve Night Orienteering: Cleared the course in four minutes less than 2 hours. The time limit was 90 minutes, with steep penalties, but I asked for it to be changed to 2 hours. The winner took like 1:41:00, so it was the right thing to do. The full-day of rain had ended, but it was very sloppy and slippery. Unlike the 41 degree (5C) weather on Tuesday, though, I was able to wear a t-shirt in 51 degree (11C) heat. Incredibly fun, although the traverses through thick honeysuckle are very difficult at night. You can't see ahead far enough to avoid fallen trees, for example.

Putting out controls for Mike, who was under the weather. Some controls like the one in the middle north of the little lake, were in dense honeysuckle and I had to bash around verifying I was placing the flag in the right place.
