Trail Run 1:19:07 [5] 10.0 mi (7:55 / mi) +623ft 7:28 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia Grey #2

Ran Erics 10 miler at Redmond Watershed (www.nwtrailruns.com), he s been getting huge turnouts lately, this one had more than 120 runners doing the 5M, 10M and marathon.
Decided last minute to not run with Yumay but do my own thing, and started off what i thought was way too fast.. after 3 miles i felt like puking, but settled into a nice groove after a while, hanging in about 10th place.. at 5 miles (42 minutes) i left the TA thinking i wont be able to go much faster but all of a sudden i started feeling great and made bigger strides and slowly caught 4 runners over time... i was hauling, doing the 2nd lap in 37 minutes, felt great...

Mountainbike 4:05:00 [3] 42.0 km (5:50 / km) +6070ft 4:47 / km

Intended to do the triple crown but did not have it in me today, and did not really want to push after two hard weeks of training... so i cut it short after the first and biggest of 3 sections, long sustained big singletrack climbs, awesome downhills, great views, superb weather, it was thoroughly enjoyable today... kim cut it short too, hayes, vdv, rvg, glen and rinn pushed on...

Trail Run 3:00:47 [3] 14.0 mi (12:55 / mi) +2986ft 10:45 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia Grey #2

Went out to Buck Creek CG and ran in the evening the shorter WR 1st look, basically cutting it at Ranger Creek Cabin, then running down... was a good run, got dark about 30 minutes before we made it back, then we had some good food, glen built a fire and we sat around drinking beer and camped out to be ready for Saturdays ride... awesome

Trail Run 1:56:02 [3] 13.35 mi (8:41 / mi) +85ft 8:38 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia Grey #2

Ran up to woodinville and back, starting off fairly fast and never really decreasing, which meant pushing fairly hard towards the end, felt good pushing though the puring rain for 2h... something i ll miss in california

Run 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi) +131ft 8:25 / mi

Paddling 52:38 [4] 5.0 km (10:32 / km)

Did the Union Bay Canoe-O with Yumay, had a great time, made no nav errors at all, but managed to get too far to the left on one of our last bridge crossings, hitting Yumay on the shoulder and sort of 3/4 capsizing our boat.. we had to jump out, drag our boat out, turn it upside down and continue... lost probably about 3-4 minutes..

Roadbiking 55:00 [3] 16.0 mi (3:26 / mi) +16ft 3:26 / mi

Out and back on the Sammamish trail with Yumay, felt great and had no major pains except for some sore hips..., rained a bit on the way back..., scary, i must have overinflated one of my tires a bit (only 85psi) and it popped out a bit, which i took care of.. reminded me a bit of hayes's exploding tire after the GG race (fortunately there is no tubless in roadbiking)

Trail Run 23:38:54 [2] 68.0 mi (20:52 / mi) +16896ft 16:53 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia Grey #2

Ran the wonderland trail with Ruri, Matt, Kimberly and Miles... started Friday at 8AM, kimberly was lagging @$$ about 5h into it already and we could not move fast enough to complete the whole 93 miles in the alotted time (had to be back saturday at 6pm), we carried her very heavy pack alternating... (we did it entirely unsupported, so lost a lot of time on getting water from streams and carrying tons of food and clothes).... so we cut it short at 68 miles, Matt continued on with Erin who came and paced him for the last 25 miles that we missed, I was bummed not to do it but I was also suffering from very bad feet and some stomach issues, so the decision was made a bit easier... what an amazing trail... next time I will come back prepared, as there was basically no prep time for this, we just decided on Tuesday and threw together a group....

shoes: Brooks Cascadia Grey #2

After getting the Job offer yesterday and a day off running i felt like a billion bucks today, ran hard the whole time, pushed on all the hills, and never felt tired... i started off a bit too slow, so i had a bit too much energy at the end, i ll proably do one more long run tomorrow.... gotta make those last few runs in the northwest worth it! Ran the 19 but from our new apartment, so its a bit longer...
