Note

Wicked Urban Sprint Adventure Race in Portland, Oregon....
drove down to portland friday night and volunteered to savekeep the race HQ which was in the heart of portland during the rose festival, all of us (liz stahl, william emerson, eric bone and I) stayed up in shifts and slept in a nearby tent in the middle of the city...
the race was a good course with a bit too much biking and not enough running, though the pace was so fast (on the run) that i was quite happy it wasnt longer... my performance during the bike (towed liz for most of the bike leg) and kayak (felt energized and had a good cadence with william) was very satisfying..
could not quite keep up with scott cole, NW nikeACG and DART, placed 4th of about 40 teams, 2nd in the Coed4 category...

ran hard to the 6.5M mark along the rivertrail, tall grass and holes made some sections quite difficult, the rest i ran closely below blowing up...
