Trail Run 1:14:53 [2] 7.0 mi (10:42 / mi) +500m 5:26 / km
shoes: Cascadia #4 Orange
easy run at cougar in the early AM before heading out to paddle, it is taking me way longer than i though to recover from CCC100, but i just talked to brian morrison and he is essentially still not recovered from western states, 3 months later, so I guess i just have to be patient...
Paddling 1:33:21 [2] 7.5 mi (12:26 / mi)
out and about at lake washington and lake union with ruri paddling... nice outing.. back hurt toward the end..

Saturday Sep 16

Orienteering 32:00 [2] 2.8 mi (11:25 / mi) +50m 6:44 / km
shoes: Cascadia #4 Orange
last of the streetscramble course vetting, then dropped off the maps with terry at the orienteering event and already had my warmup...
Orienteering 28:02 [4]**** 2.8 mi (10:00 / mi) +100m 5:36 / km
spiked:15/24c shoes: Cascadia #4 Orange
woodland park score-O without trails or vegetation zones.. the nav was not too hard but i messed up and ran by one of the 24 controls and then had to go back after i was almost done... probably lost about 4-5 min overall but dont think i could have beater matej who did it in 21m40.. he ll soon beat eric in some of the events i bet

Friday Sep 15

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1] 5.0 mi (11:59 / mi) +80m 7:06 / km
shoes: Brooks Roadrunners
checked most of the street scramble maps for terry and eric with yumay....took it pretty easy..

Wednesday Sep 13

Mountainbike 1:34:56 [3] 14.0 mi (6:47 / mi) +450m 3:50 / km
night time bike ride gate to gate tiger up fireroad to preston, over to nwtimber and back down... rode with yumay and julie again, seems like this is the new thing... yumay has now surpassed me in terms of technical skills on most of the downhills, kind of scary.. it became clear when i ended up NOT getting off the bike and took the 4 larger drops the preston singletrack has because yumay took them and so did julie and since i did not want to be a wussy i tried, though i fell on the last one and scratched my lower leg pretty good.... i am just horrible at the singletrack for how often i ride... or maybe ist just the company i am in is significantly better than the average rider out there... anyhow, it got real dark right before we got to NWtimber and with our tiny little headlights (my halogen is in the shop) we took much longer for the last few miles of singletrack... some two crazies rode it entirely in th e dark without lights....

Monday Sep 11

Trail Run 58:55 [3] 5.5 mi (10:42 / mi) +330m 5:37 / km
shoes: Cascadia #4 Orange
awesome trail run in the evening.. felt like skipping it after a long hard day at work, decided to go anyways but soon realized a long run was not going to be smart due to my hamstrings still being shot from the weekend training.. so i took it easy on the hills and booked the downs... got a good rythm going and felt totally revived at the end...
