| usual fall beast loop, heavy legs and painful hips after 10M, but then increasingly better performance and at the end i was cruising at 8m/M back to the house... took it rather easy in view of tonights orienteering race... |

| Vampire-O with Eric and Yumay... Eric Naved (duh) and I backup naved the route choices.. were on our way to blast the course and had 4 of 24cp's left when we got caught by a vampire.. these guys hit the jackpot and probably ran straight to the finish.. we got caught another 3-4 times and exchanged poor to pathetic cards (4-15 cps) and ended up turning in a sheet with 10 punches.. oh well, thats the fun of the game... close but no banana... |

 | Trail Run 2:10:40 [2] 12.0 mi (10:53 / mi) +200m 6:26 / km | |

| Evening trail run to the watershed and a bit there, then back via farrell mcwither, tired legs, apathic, and a wee bit hypoglycemic at the end...yumay picked up the slack and carried my pack (brought too much stuff) and then towed me for the last 2 miles.. she likes doing it when she can and i really enjoyed hanging in there... she ran pretty hard the last mile and a half..... last 7 days ran 65miles with 16'000 feet of elevation gain, need to make sure i am not overdoing it too early... |
