Trail Run 15:00 [2] 1.7 mi (8:49 / mi)
shoes: Innov8 X-talon

Brisk but controlled warmup at Fire Mt. Meet, Hamstrings were my main concern

Orienteering 1:26:33 [3] 7.0 mi (12:22 / mi) +600ft 11:26 / mi
shoes: Innov8 X-talon

The most miserable O course I have ever done, hands down.... the map is mediocre at best, and many options included choosing between bushwhacking dark green or bushwhacking dark green... took 25 miutes from 4-5, and lost 15 there... I actually sat down for 6-7 minutes tending to my deep cuts from falling through a cracked tree into blackberry bushes, and generally giving up.. but once matt came back from a failed blackberry bush trip we picked it up togehter and ran hard for the 2nd part, and did well.. finished surprisingly well, 4th, eric was first in 67, 2nd was 79, bill was 82, so could have been 3rd, but it wasnt really about the times today, 6 dollars worth for sure, 1 for beauty, 5 for pain..., nikolay did give us some nice route choices of which i was 2 for 4, not too great... but speed was good

Thursday Feb 4

Mountainbike 2:01:00 [2] 17.0 mi (7:07 / mi) +2800ft 6:09 / mi

pretty much every trail (only a few out and back) to gps/measure out the whole park at lord hill for the upcoming trail run... great outing, massive fun, out for 3h, lots of stop, write and go
