Great race today. I smoked through the course, save one 3 minute mistake on Control 7 that involved me falling into a river. I felt good today. The bad news? I only got 5th and the winner was the guy who already has a win and a 2nd place finish. The good news? I'm still in 1st, got rid of my 28th place finish, beat the other contender, and I can now run freely with 4 solid finishes now.

Training exercise organized by Nikolay after my run. It involved going to a start location with a map that had two controls on it, memorizing the control locations, leaving the map, and finding the controls. At the 2nd control, there would be another map with two more 2 controls. There were a total of 6. I did pretty well. The time/distance is just an estimate.

Light jog through Woodlands and back home after spotting a potential lost dog and checking the bullitin board.
