Planned on going for a 9 miler to hit 40 miles for this week since I was way below mileage and ended up going a bit longer and a lot faster than I expected. Just felt like one of those days where I was on. Ran from home to BT and was around 6:27 per mile. Tried to keep up the pace in the park and the GPS watch still had me around 6:27 under all the tree cover so I assumed I must have been moving while in there because it undercuts the 4.8 mile loop by about .5 a mile. Then it had me averaging at 5:47 on the segment from when I came out of the park to home (~2.5 miles). Great run but hopefully I don't end up overworking this week. Planning on taking a stab at the 42 year old school 3200m record that I missed by 2 seconds last year this Thursday. It will be really really tough in a small duel meet with not a very large field, but it will be all the more sweeter if I'm able to pull it off.
