Orienteering - Street Sydney (#09 Burn Baby Burn) 45:13 [3] 7.54 km (6:00 / km)
350 points with a 10 point penalty.
18 controls visited.
Could have come back early but pushed for an extra 20 points ... so finished ahead by a net 10 points.
Got everything I had pre-marked on the map with the exception of 4 controls near the end in about a 500 m loop which I hoped to add on as an extra but ran out of time.
Course layout was a bit odd this week and I could only see one way to solve it as getting any more than I had planned involved crossing under a freeway and heading a fair way out into bushland area. Looked like a good way to get caught too far from the start and to get lost so I avoided it.
According to scores Daniel Orr from Newcastle Orienteering Club was there this week but I didn't see him.
