Sick so walked it. Distance approximate. Think this is the longest time I have ever been out on a course.

Awesome map with intricate tricky detail.
Use google maps to see this large fortress town surrounded by a moat.
2.5 km walk from compound to start and then 2.5 km back from finish to compound.

Note

Tri-City-O. 3 events across 3 classic Dutch fortress towns.
I need to figure out a way to scan maps and display.
These were awesome with multiple level forts, stairs, bridges, moats, drawbridges and more.
Website www.tricityo.com

So far all Dutch maps have been less than inspiring with very flat forests cut up by well defined tracks compared to the huge gulleys and boulders of Australia. They do the best rhey can with the areas available to them. Have been spoilt by Newcastle Club and State Events.

I have been slack and not even written up an account of the 4 or so prior events I have attended.

In one the forest was completely protected and you were not allowed to take a single step off the trails and map was 1:25000 so navigation was minimal. I havent even used a compass over here yet!

Note

Yes I am still alive and still here .... just.
Late night return from Sweden via Dusseldorf airport.
So sick and wobbly i had to get someone else to drive my hire car back 2.5 hrs to Sweden and then 1 hr back from Dusseldorf.
So running 3 events of about 18 km in next 2 days is not going to be viable.
